Create Your Own Routine

Here are a few ideas that I use myself around the house and in my daily routine.

Sticky Notes Around the House

  • Write positive statements on colorful sticky notes and place them in various spots around your home. Stick them on mirrors, refrigerator doors, bedroom walls, or even on your computer monitor. Seeing these positive messages regularly will help reinforce a positive mindset throughout the day. I have a bright orange one in the car.ย

Affirmation Journal

  • Start or end your day by writing positive things in a dedicated journal. Reflect on these affirmations, and consider how they apply to your life. This practice can help you focus on positivity and set a constructive tone for your day or night.

Digital Reminders

  • Use your phone or computer to set up daily reminders with positive quotes. Schedule these reminders to pop up at different times of the day, providing you with a burst of positivity and encouragement right when you need it.

Create a Vision Board

  • Design a vision board that includes positive quotes, affirmations, and images that inspire you. Place the board in a prominent location where you’ll see it often. The visual and textual inspiration can keep you motivated and focused on your goals. I love vision boards and I create one, along with my wife, yearly.ย

Positive Quote Jar

  • Fill a jar with slips of paper, each containing a positive quote or affirmation. Every morning or whenever you need a boost, draw a slip from the jar and reflect on the message. This simple practice can provide daily encouragement and a positive start to your day. I haven’t done this one just yet. I’ll be incorporating this in the next few weeks.ย
